2010 NSA Umpire Announcements

Virginia NSA is actively inviting individuals who want to work as umpires for the 2010 season. The program includes slow pitch and youth fast pitch softball throughout the state. Contact Ron Zuhl (SP) and / or Jim Finch (FP)

State clinics announced.

Happy New Year NSA umpires. The winter months are going by fast and before you know it, we will be back on the diamond in full force. Now it is time for us to prepare everyone for the upcoming season. We have four (4) State clinics to be conducted throughout the region and it is mandatory for all NSA umpires to attend at least one to be considered for umpiring in the State and Post Season tournaments. Remember, this is your clinic, therefore if you have any items you would like to have discussed, please forward them to me or Ron as soon as possible. Below are dates and locations:

Players & Coaches: Your input is important. What are the umpire problem areas? What else should we be looking at? Please be as specific as possible (and keep it to 20,000 words or less).
